Nora Lavoie - Obituary and funeral arrangements

I have just received the obituary and funeral arrangements for Nora Lavoie, who died on December 30, 2014.

The Lavoie family invite Nora's friends to the Funeral Complexe of the Petite Nation, 101 rue Principale, St-Andre-Avelin, Qc. on Saturday, January 17, 2015 from 10:00am on. A funeral ceremony will be held in the chapel of the Complexe at 11:00am.

"Nora Isabel Patten Lavoie died on Tuesday, December 30th at the age of 91.

Loving wife of Vincent F. Lavoie, daughter of the late William Patten and Isabella Hall, she was the loving mother of Jacqueline, Thomas (Nancy), Ian (Sylvie) and Guy (JoAnn); the adored grandmother of 7 grandchildren and the great grandmother of 6 great grandchildren. Nora was pre-deceased by two brothers.

Donations in Nora's honour may be made to the Parkinsons Society of Quebec, 1080-550 Sherbrooke St. W. West Tower, Montreal Qc H3A 1B9

All Old Sedberghians send our heartfelt condolences to Vincent, to Jacqueline, Tom, Ian and Guy, and to the whole Lavoie family. We are the less for Nora's passing. Her life was one of generosity, compassion, and love to so many of us at Sedbergh. We will miss her.
