Shawn Leibovitch - 1970-2015

Old Sedberghians will be saddened to hear of the death of Shawn Leibovitch, '87 on Thursday, April 23rd, 2015. This news has only reached me today as I have been away. The funeral was last Sunday, April 26th.

SHAWN "Raider" (LEIBOVITCH) LEIB

It is with infinite sadness that Shawn's family announces his passing after a brief battle, bravely fought, on Thursday, April 23rd, 2015 with his devoted and loving wife Kimberley Bonder by his side.

Incredible and fun-loving father of Russell and Avery, who he loved so much. Adored brother of Andrea Leibovitch. Son of the late Ralph and the late Nancy Leibovitch. Cherished son-in-law of Karole Raizer and Herb Bonder. Dear brother-in-law of Melanie Bonder and Kevin Pledge, Samantha Bonder and Ricky Wagen. Amazing uncle of Jonah Bonder, Cole and Brett Wagen. He will be sorely missed and forever remembered by his many incredibly supportive friends who rallied around him throughout this difficult time.

Shawn was larger than life, with his presence, personality and sense of humour. Special thanks to Drs. David Melnychuck, Peter Kavan and Ricky Payne, the nurses and staff of the Jewish General Hospital.

Funeral services from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Sunday, April 26th at 11:30am. Shiva at his home.
